Each stencil has the name of the line engraved onto one side. Children will learn the correct term for each type of line
while also building their literacy skills. When flipped, the card is "blank" giving the child the opportunity to name the line independently
You may choose to add additional labels. This would allow you to flip the cards over and have the student match the label with the corresponding card
You might also simply show the child the word, for example, "horizontal" and see if they are able to draw the line without a model or control
